The Tigers U10 team came top in their group last Sunday at the Winchester Festival, with 1 draw and 3 straight wins to their credit. They went into the final and lost narrowly to Portsmouth in a 2-1, tightly fought game.

It was difficult to pick out individual highlights from the games as all of players merged into one outstanding team, with great running (with some fantastic off-loads) and a really tough defence. I have never seen them work so well together and their sheer determination in stopping the opposition was fantastic.

For me, and I guess the other coaches and parents the biggest reward was the smiles on their faces and the mud on their knees.
